Description:
We are seeking a Summer Intern for our Protein Sciences team with a passion for developing and applying methods to develop immunoassay products for biomarker detection. The successful candidate will learn the product development strategy and be able to execute and analyze experiments necessary for the development of new immunoassay products. The candidate will work with innovative technology and collaborate with a highly talented and motivated team to address unmet research and medical needs.
Responsibilities:
- Apply the trained knowledge and skill sets to design, execute, and analyze experiments for custom assay and antibody conjugation development projects.
- Analyze data, present insights, and perform optimization or troubleshooting experiments as needed.
- Assist with antibody conjugations and analysis of antibody conjugates.
- Test antibody conjugates using single-plex NULISA technology.
- Help with reagent preparation and organization.
- Assist in the recording and storage of related data and electronic documents.
Required Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience with general lab techniques, such as pipetting, aliquoting, and gel electrophoresis, and lab instruments, such as centrifuges and thermomixers.
- Understanding of immunoassays, such as ELISA & ability to analyze assay data is desirable.
- Any experience related to SDS-PAGE and DNA gel analysis, protein quantification (BCA assay), immunoassay development, and qPCR is a great plus.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Experience with Excel, and other MS Office
- Must be self-motivated with a positive “can do” attitude and demonstrate project management skills.

The hourly pay range for this position is $20 - 30/ hour. Work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training determine our salary ranges. The ranges displayed on each job posting reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries but are subject to change if the leveling of the role is adjusted.
