We are seeking a reliable and organized Property Management Assistant to support daily property operations, tenant communication, and administrative processes. The ideal candidate has experience handling tenant relations, maintenance coordination, collections, and Section 8 documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenant inquiries and concerns.
- Manage tenant relations and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Schedule and coordinate maintenance appointments with vendors and tenants.
- Monitor rent payments and assist with collections and follow-ups on overdue accounts.
- Prepare and process Section 8 paperwork and ensure compliance with housing regulations.
- Communicate and coordinate with case workers regarding tenant requirements and documentation.
- Maintain organized tenant records and property documentation.
Requirements
- Prior experience in property management or real estate administration.
- Knowledge of Section 8 processes and housing assistance programs.
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software (preferred).
