AppyWay is the industry-leading SaaS solution decarbonising cities by empowering local authorities to digitally manage their kerbside and share kerbside data with fleets and drivers.
Our journey began with AppyParking+, an app born from the frustration of finding and understanding parking on the streets of London. During the app’s creation, it was clear that cities lacked shareable, machine-readable, standardised parking restriction data. So we built the UK’s largest set of standardised kerbside data, in turn discovering the untapped potential beneath everyone’s feet.
Our holistic kerbside management platform provides a ‘future of mobility’ conduit between the private and public sector, ensuring standardised kerbside data can flow between local authorities and mobility operators, unlocking the barriers that hinder the adoption of intelligent mobility solutions and ultimately make the kerb work for everyone, physically, socially and commercially.
Our impressive client roster includes Local Authorities such as Edinburgh, Southwark, Lambeth, Haringey, Harrogate, Cambridgeshire, Cornwall, Dorset, Dublin and, more recently across the pond, New York City. Additionally, our apps and API are trusted by tens of thousands of drivers and fleets.
We are proud to have the support of top investors, including Hyundai Motor Company, Aviva Ventures, Mastercard and Esri. To date, we have raised over £20 million in funding, allowing us to continue building something big from the ground up.
We’ve won several prestigious awards over the years including more recently Best Transportation-as-a-Service Project Award from the TaaS Technology Conference as well as being ranked as a top 50 disruptive UK company in the 2019 Disruption 50 Index.
(Note we are looking to onboard this role either as an immediate start contractor, or full time employment)
We’re building something big, from the ground up, so this is a great chance to get on
board with that and make a mark on a company that you can call your own.

AppyWay started out life as AppyParking. An app made to solve the frustration of finding a parking space. To create the award-winning app, the AppyWay team began building up the UK’s largest set of standardised kerbside data, a task that led us to realise the untapped potential lying under everyone’s feet. With a vision for more liveable cities, our obsession turned to the kerb.Today, AppyWay offers an advanced platform of accurate, standardised data, APIs, and tools for smart kerbside management. We do this through effectively digitizing the kerb, utilizing IoT sensors to establish kerbside demand data, and further enriching this via a wide range of sources such as payment operators, navigation and traffic solutions, mobility and last mile operators, mobile as a service (MaaS) apps, electric vehicle and infrastructure apps, plus a variety of other tools.Councils like Milton Keynes, Cambridgeshire, Portsmouth, Harrogate, Coventry, Southwark, Cornwall, Dorset and more, ordinary drivers, fleets and logistics firms, use our platform.AppyWay is backed by a number of leading investors. To date, we have completed a £7.6 million Series A round that drew in blue-chip investors including Sumitomo Corporation, Hyundai Motor Company, and Aviva Ventures, West Hill Capital, and Breed Reply. We recently announced the launch of a £20 million Series B funding round. This will be used to support organic growth of our platform, strategic acquisitions, further technological investment, and international scalability. We’re building something big, from the ground up, so this is a great chance to get on board and make a mark on a company that you can call your own.
