The Project Engineer will have the flexibility to assist with management of multiple projects working directly with the Operations Manager. The Project Engineer will work to ensure that projects are delivered safely, on-budget, within schedule and in compliance with the company’s standards and to the customer’s satisfaction. Responsibilities
  • Plan and designs individual components, higher level assemblies, and other mechanically functioning equipment.
  • Translates technical guidance received from supervisor into usable engineering data applicable to particular assignments and/or large projects.
  • May occasionally be required to guide technicians or drafters on specific projects.
  • Works closely with Project Managers and supports Pre-Bid requirements.
  • Carries out assignments associated with design or development and manufacture of specific parts and components within various phases of a project.
  • May coordinate the activities of Level I engineers or technicians assigned to specific projects.
  • Works closely with other engineering disciplines in the development and application of methods to increase production quality, efficiency, or volume.
  • Work with other departments to improve processes. Work with external field personnel to develop installation methodology for new designs.
  • Requirements
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
  • 2-5 Years previous construction experience, preferably as a Mechanical Contractor or Prime Contractor in an industrial environment.
  • Thorough understanding of plans and specifications.
