Project Manager

TLDR

Oversee project coordination and streamline workflows across multiple creative teams while using project management tools to enhance efficiency.

MS NOW is seeking a highly organized, proactive Project Manager to support and streamline workflows across our expanding creative ecosystem. This role will oversee the intake, coordination, and distribution of projects across multiple creative groups—including the Daily Show Graphics team, Promo & Marketing, Brand Design, and Brand Standards.

The ideal candidate excels at navigating complex multi-stakeholder environments, synthesizing information, and building structured systems that empower creative teams to do their best work.

Key Responsibilities

Project Intake & Workflow Management

  • Serve as the primary point of intake for new creative requests across MS NOW.
    • Assign and route projects to the appropriate design, graphics, or marketing teams.
    • Track progress, dependencies, timelines, and resource needs across all active projects.

Cross‑Team Communication

  • Act as a liaison between Creative, Marketing, and internal MS NOW clients.
    • Facilitate clear communication on project requirements, deliverables, and deadline.
    • Keep senior creative leadership informed with timely updates and escalation when needed.

Systems & Organization

  • Use and optimize project management tools (Asana, Dali, Airtable, Excel, etc.).
    • Develop customized tracking or organization systems to manage multi‑deliverable projects.
    • Ensure documentation, briefs, and assets flow cleanly through the creative pipeline.

Production & On‑Air Workflow Knowledge

  • Coordinate projects that support on‑air graphics, broadcast design, and promotional workflows.
    • Understand the timelines, approval processes, and technical requirements for on‑air creative.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Produce weekly and monthly status reports for leadership.
    • Track team bandwidth, project trends, and operational KPIs.

 

  • 3–5+ years of experience in project management, creative operations, or related roles.
  • Hands-on experience with project management platforms such as Asana, Dali, Airtable, and Excel.
  • Strong understanding of creative production workflows, including on‑air graphics, broadcast design, and on‑air promotional processes.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
  • Confident communicator who can collaborate effectively with designers, marketers, producers, and executives.
  • Comfortable building new systems and processes where needed.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the New York office a minimum of three days per week. Salary range: $85,000-$120,000
