Sr Project Manager

Trilogy Federal is looking for a Sr Project Manager with knowledge and experience in federal project management to support a large Federal agency with a focus on data integration, data analytics, data system architecture, and data operations We are looking for a motivated Project Manager to engage and consult internal program team members as well as the client on the management of data products and resources and provide project management mentorship to client and internal staff.   

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Experience running data operations 
  • Facilitate and/or support internal scrum meetings with a variety of teams, including technical resources, end-user groups, and stakeholders to define, analyze and document business requirements, processes, and workflows. 
  • Develop and maintain project management artifacts for senior government officials and large teams to include, but not limited to: technical deliverables such as data and system assessments, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Process Flows, Risk Registers, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).  
  • Support project execution activities that include schedule tracking, corrective action recommendations, facilitation of issues and risks, updates to project dashboards, quality assessments of project artifacts, and facilitate lessons learned activities during project close-out.  
  • Create and present executive-level briefings on project status, risks, issues, and strategies.  
  • Provide change management and process improvement recommendations and concepts. 
  • Support Trilogy corporate initiatives for staff development and company growth through business development efforts. 
  • Perform all duties associated with program management related to client and Trilogy deliverables, manage teaming partner contributions and relationships, and mentor and coach junior staff for career growth and development.  

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field preferred) 
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Project Management 
  • PMP certification 
  • The ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. 
  • Project Management methodologies (Waterfall and Agile) and SDLC understanding. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation and communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to variety of audiences. 
  • Ability to interface well with end-users and client stakeholders across the organization. 
  • Experience in detail-oriented consulting approach, leading/supporting using SDLC and/or Agile development projects with client service focus. 
  • Self-starter able to work independently and within a team. 
  • Flexibility and the ability to react to rapidly changing requirements. 
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint, Teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with the Veterans Benefits Administration, Education Services
