The Translations Project Manager will oversee multilingual content localisation for our Training products covering Ethics and Compliance topics. This role ensures our global learners receive a seamless, high-quality experience across languages and regions. The ideal candidate is organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about e-learning, technology, and cross-cultural communication.
The primary objectives and responsibilities of a Translations Project Manager includes:
- Manage end-to-end translation projects across multiple languages and content types;
- Plan project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation in coordination with internal stakeholders and external localisation vendors;
- Collaborate with Project Management, Customer Success, design, content, and development teams to ensure localised materials meet timelines and quality standards;
- Establish and maintain translation quality processes, including terminology management, style guides, and QA reviews;
- Ability to understand and leverage AI tools into localisation processes;
- Track and report project progress, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies;
- Grow and maintain relationships with translation vendors and deliver projects within budget;
- Support internal launches by coordinating localised content releases and testing language versions in-platform;
- Continuously improve workflows to enhance efficiency, scalability, and quality.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Proven experience in translation or localisation project management (preferably in EdTech, SaaS, or digital learning);
- Strong understanding of localisation workflows, CAT tools, and translation management systems (TMS);
- Experience working with educational content or learning management systems (LMS) is highly desirable;
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills required with the ability to work within all levels of an organisation;
- Comfortable working in Languages other than English and experience using Lilt would be advantageous;
- Foster successful partnerships and excellent working relationships with internal teams (customer success and learning product development resources) and external resources (vendor(s) and contractor(s) relationships);
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both within a team and independently to accomplish responsibilities and multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Critical attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects in tight timeframes, while maintaining accuracy and quality;
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
As required by applicable Pay Transparency laws, the base salary range for this position is €1500 - €2700 gross per month plus opportunities for bonuses or commission. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
