We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our team and be part of our next stage of growth. As Project Manager, you will lead successful customer implementations of Traction Rec. This role owns delivery execution - scope, timeline, communication, and stakeholder alignment - while ensuring customers are prepared to adopt, operate, and ultimately own their Traction Rec solution. You bring strong project management discipline, experience and passion for non-profits, and working knowledge of Salesforce, particularly Nonprofit Cloud and emerging AI capabilities such as Agentforce.

Skills

Traction Rec’rs come from a variety of backgrounds, and we are eager to find people that are from diverse backgrounds. For this role, you might have: 


  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience. 
  • 3-5 years in B2B client-facing roles managing and delivering technology and business change projects with a focus on SaaS product implementation. 
  • Experience working with non-profit or public sector organizations (e.g. YMCAs, JCCs, Parks & Rec, membership-based organizations).
  • Strong understanding and use of project management methodologies and tools with relevant certifications (e.g., CAPM, PMP) preferred.
  • Proven ability to build strong client relationships, interact with customers’ executives, manage and set client expectations, demonstrate strategic understanding of business needs, and successfully position solutions with customers.
  • Ability and experience managing multiple complex, multi-stakeholder projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem solving and business analysis skills, and the ability to anticipate, address, and mitigate project risks and challenges.
  • Demonstrated success managing client escalations and developing effective resolution plans.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and balance customer needs with delivery constraints. 
  • Proficiency in change management principles and practices, including the ability to develop and execute change management plans.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead end-to-end implementations of Traction Rec on Salesforce, from kickoff through go-live and transition to support.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Partner with technical project team members to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Oversee testing process, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to validate system functionality
  • Identify potential risks and issues, develop and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity and success.
  • Plan and consult on training and change management strategies and activities to ensure minimal disruption and high end user  proficiency and adoption. 
  • Conduct business analysis to ensure solutions meet objectives and align with business needs.
  • Manage go live issue resolution and partner with Product, Support, and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth handoffs and continuous improvement
  • Travel to clients (must be able to travel in Canada and US, without restriction).


Compensation

At Traction Rec, we are committed to a fair, market-based and equitable compensation structure. Our market data is refreshed on an annual basis to reflect the most current market conditions.


The starting salary band for this role is $80,000-$90,000. Starting salaries will vary within this range based on experience, skill level, and internal equity related to the role. 


Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and do not include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer.
