Requirements

About the Role:

As a Project Manager at STAT, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of various technology projects within our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.

What You’ll Do:  

  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining project scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and milestones.
  • Create and maintain project schedules, identifying critical paths and dependencies.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, providing clear direction, motivation, and support to team members. Foster a collaborative environment and facilitate effective communication among team members.
  • Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address challenges to ensure timely resolution and minimize project disruptions.
  • Allocate resources effectively to ensure optimal utilization and productivity. Monitor resource availability and adjust project plans as necessary to accommodate changing priorities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, status, and key milestones. Manage stakeholder expectations and address any concerns or feedback in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and align with customer requirements. Conduct thorough testing and validation to identify and resolve any issues or defects.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the project management framework. Implement best practices and lessons learned to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

Who You Are: 

Our team is high performing and self motivated - you should be too. 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
  • Proven track record managing software/technology projects from initiation to delivery
  • Strong proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Asana, or similar)
  • Excellent communication skills - ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities

Bonus Points:

  • Agile/Scrum methodology experience (if you use those frameworks)
  • Budget management experience ($X - $Y project budgets)
  • Vendor/contractor management experience
  • Technical background or ability to work closely with engineering teams
  • Customer-facing experience in SaaS/tech environments
  • Data-driven approach to project metrics and reporting
