We are seeking a technically savvy and organized Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of capital and operational projects across our manufacturing plant. Knowledge & Skills

  • You have a deep understanding of plant equipment, utilities (HVAC, compressed air, ammonia, water), and production systems
  • You are proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks (or similar software)
  • You are skilled in capital planning, project budgeting, scheduling, and contractor oversight
  • You are comfortable navigating local regulatory standards, (ANSI, IIAR< OSHA, Building codes, food safety, etc.)
  • Able to lead commissioning, SAT/FAT processes, and production ramp-up
  • You have strong documentation, SOP creation, project management and reporting abilities
  • You can interpret technical documentation and communicate requirements effectively
  • You are familiar with maintenance programs, safety compliance, and sustainability best practices

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field (ex. Business, Operations, Engineering or Construction Management)
  • 5+ years of experience managing technical or capital projects, preferably in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong technical skills and working knowledge of plant equipment and systems
  • Familiarity with U.S. regulatory requirements, commissioning, installations, or plant improvements initiatives would be an asset

 

NICE-TO-HAVE

  • P. Eng. designation or PMP certification
  • Experience working in a food manufacturing or regulated production environment
