Project Manager – Service & Maintenance (Southern Europe)

You take ownership of service operations across Southern Europe and ensure the performance and reliability of advanced energy installations.

About the role

At HoSt Group, you join our team in France, based in our new office in Rennes, and work on projects across France, Spain and Italy collaborating with clients and technical teams in an international environment.

As a Project Manager Service & Maintenance, you play a key role in keeping our biogas and CO₂ recovery installations running safely, efficiently, and in line with service agreements.

In this role, you coordinate service activities across multiple countries, working closely with clients, technicians, suppliers, and subcontractors while building strong relationships. You take a hands-on approach: you monitor performance, lead preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, and continuously look for ways to improve reliability and reduce downtime.

Your responsibilities

• Actively identifying commercial opportunities;

• Preparing quotations and contracts;

• Performing cost calculations (maintenance contracts versus refurbishment projects);

• Supervising work execution according to applicable quality, HSE, and safety standards;

• Identifying and reporting unsafe situations;

• Selecting external resources and contractors;

• Invoicing completed work;

• Monitoring project progress and providing periodic reports;

• Processing maintenance reports;

• Optimizing processes and increasing efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

Our requirements

• Bachelor’s level of working and thinking, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or similar;

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role;

• Affinity with maintenance of (sustainable) installations;

• Strong safety awareness and good communication skills;

• Proficiency in French and English; Spanish or Italian are a plus;

• Knowledge of MS Office and maintenance management systems.
