Project Manager / Scrum Master

We’ve built a next-generation platform and embedded payment API designed around an intelligent wallet architecture that allows businesses of all kinds to receive, manage, exchange and send money all over the world. Xtrm operates using a fully distributed team spanning many countries. We are a high growth company, with over 1,500 global customers.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead the delivery of a high-impact Fintech product built using ASP.NET Core, RESTful APIs, and Microsoft Azure Cloud services.

The ideal candidate will have strong Agile expertise, hands-on experience managing cloud-based product teams, and a solid understanding of .NET-based architecture and financial systems.

This role requires close collaboration with Engineering, Product, QA, DevOps, and Business stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities:

Project & Delivery Management

• Lead end-to-end delivery of fintech product initiatives.
• Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, release planning, and stakeholder reporting.
• Ensure timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies proactively.
• Track KPIs, velocity, burndown charts, and sprint metrics.

Agile / Scrum Leadership

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Remove impediments impacting team productivity.
• Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with Product Owner to prioritize backlog.

Technical Coordination (Must Understand Stack)

• Coordinate development of applications built on:
• NET Core
• RESTful APIs
• Microservices architecture
• Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, Service Bus, API Management)
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and Azure deployments.
• Ensure architectural alignment and scalability standards.

Stakeholder & Client Management

• Communicate project status to leadership and external stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into actionable technical deliverables.
• Manage expectations and ensure transparent communication.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience

• 8+ years in IT industry.
• 3–5 years as Project Manager or Scrum Master in product-based environment.
• Experience managing Fintech / Banking / Payment / Financial systems projects.
• Experienced in DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud deployment practices

Technical Understanding

• Good understanding of:
  • NET Core
  • RESTful API development
  • Microservices architecture
  • Azure Cloud services

Agile & Tools

• Strong knowledge of Scrum framework.
• Experience with Jira / Azure DevOps Boards.
• Sprint metrics and reporting experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP / CSM / SAFe certification.
• Experience in high-volume transaction systems.
• Knowledge of security & compliance in fintech.
• Exposure to payment gateways, reconciliation systems, or regulatory reporting.
