We are urgently looking for a seasoned Project Manager to lead and manage multiple high-impact projects for one of our Clients. The role involves coordinating the integration of internally developed components, external services, and ensuring seamless project delivery. The ideal candidate has a strong background in end-to-end project execution, risk management, data migration, and experience working in highly regulated public or governmental environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management
- Oversee and ensure successful delivery of projects aligning with project management standards.
- Manage the integration of internal and external components, including commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software deployments, ICT infrastructure, and SaaS.
- Deliver regular project status updates to Europol's ICT management using standard reporting frameworks.
- Ensure up-to-date and accurate project documentation, including realistic project plans, Gantt charts, and deliverables.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, staff, and external service providers.
- Set up and facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes for future reference.
- Keep stakeholders informed with relevant updates for smooth decision-making processes.
Governance and Risk Management
- Strengthen project governance by facilitating check-ins, coaching meetings, and stakeholder boards.
- Proactively identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies, providing mitigation strategies where required.
- Monitor budgets and resource allocation while taking corrective actions when deviations occur.
End-to-End Deliverables
- Oversee the management and approval of project deliverables, meeting deadlines, quality standards, and plans.
- Track project implementation progress, ensuring completion within scope, cost, timeline, and other parameters.
- Support Europol’s designated structures, such as the Project Management Office, during operations.
- A level of education corresponding to the role, such as a university degree.

9+ years professional experience in project management, including:
- Leading at least 5 end-to-end projects, including ICT infrastructure deployments, COTS software implementations, and SaaS integrations.
- Managing 5 data protection projects.
- Leading 5+ years of data migration projects.
- Working for 5+ years in highly regulated public/governmental environments or EU institutions.
- Risk management experience for 5+ years.
- Managed and delivered at least 1 CPaaS (Communication Platform-as-a-Service) project from initiation to go-live (desirable).
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of planning and estimation techniques.
- Proficiency in using MS Office tools, including PowerPoint, for project visuals and scheduling.

PM certification: At least intermediate level certification in PRINCE2, PMP, or PM².
- Expertise in a structured approach to incremental software integration, with hands-on experience in service integration with third-party providers.
- Solid knowledge of data migration concepts and strategies.
- Understanding of identity and access management technologies (desirable).
- Familiarity with infrastructure technologies such as virtual infrastructure, containers, and connectivity (desirable).
- Knowledge of European IT procurement and tendering processes is a plus.
- Fluency in English (B2 level or higher).
