We’re looking for a Project Manager, Quality & Compliance to support our growing team. The Project Manager, Quality and Compliance for the N60 Monitoring Group is a technical role focused on ensuring the quality, compliance, and defensibility of KBL’s environmental monitoring programs. The position primarily serves as the QA/QC authority across monitoring projects, while also providing project management support on select assignments. This role works closely with clients, regulators, and internal teams to uphold high technical standards and support successful project delivery.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead QA/QC systems for environmental monitoring programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory, contractual, and client requirements
  • Provide technical oversight of sampling programs, laboratory coordination, data validation, and reporting deliverables
  • Review and approve monitoring data, QA/QC summaries, and technical submissions prior to client or regulator release
  • Drive continuous improvement through audits, corrective actions, SOP updates, and staff training
  • Act as Project Manager on assigned monitoring or specialized projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, and coordination


Who You Are

  • You have a university degree or college diploma in Environmental Sciences or a related discipline
  • You bring senior-level experience in environmental monitoring, QA/QC, and regulatory compliance
  • You are detail-oriented, technically strong, and confident making decisions that ensure data quality and defensibility
  • You communicate effectively with clients, regulators, Indigenous communities, and internal teams
  • Professional designations (e.g., P.Ag, RT.Ag, CET, PMP, EP) are considered an asset


What You Need

  • Strong working knowledge of environmental monitoring programs (water, soil, air, effluent) and QA/QC best practices
  • Experience reviewing laboratory data, managing non-conformances, and supporting audits
  • Ability to balance quality leadership with hands-on project management responsibilities
  • Willingness to work in both office and field environments, including remote sites
  • Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel as required
