Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead delivery across a large-scale, mission-critical application modernization program. This role is responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring consistent execution across CORE and DEV Pods. The Project Manager partners closely with technical leaders, product owners, and operations teams to drive predictable delivery, manage risk, and maintain transparency throughout the modernization lifecycle. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery across multiple concurrent application modernization initiatives. 
  • Coordinate activities across CORE and DEV Pods, including architecture, engineering, UX, DevOps, and SRE teams. 
  • Establish and maintain delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, and release schedules. 
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and ensure effective use of Scrum and Kanban practices. 
  • Track delivery progress, risks, and issues; proactively escalate and drive resolution as needed. 
  • Partner with Release Engineering and SRE teams to support deployment readiness, operational stability, and post-release validation. 
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting to provide visibility into delivery status, velocity, quality, and outcomes. 
  • Support stakeholder communication by managing expectations, aligning priorities, and fostering consensus across technical and business teams. 
  • Continuously improve delivery processes to enhance team effectiveness, predictability, and quality. 
  • 6+ years of experience managing software delivery in Agile or hybrid Agile environments. 
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, including modern DevOps and CI/CD practices. 
  • Demonstrated success managing large, complex modernization or transformation initiatives with distributed and cross-functional teams. 
  • Hands-on experience serving as an Agile Project Manager, Scrum Master, or delivery lead across Scrum and Kanban teams. 
  • Experience coordinating with DevOps, SRE, and Release Engineering teams in production environments. 
  • Proven ability to blend Agile and traditional project management approaches based on delivery needs. 
  • Experience establishing delivery metrics, dashboards, and reporting to improve transparency and decision-making. 
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience managing onshore/offshore delivery models. 
  • Background in enterprise application modernization or cloud transformation initiatives. 
  • Familiarity with regulated or mission-critical environments (e.g., utilities, finance, healthcare). 
  • Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP) a plus.
