Project Manager

The Project Manager coordinates complex healthcare deployment projects, improving clinical processes and directly impacting patient care.

The deployment of the MYLE solution is at the heart of MEDFAR's operations. The project manager's role is to prepare, plan, and coordinate projects. They will be responsible for managing schedules, monitoring progress, and reporting results for their project portfolio. Their contribution to the deployment team will have a direct and significant impact on improving clinical processes. The project manager is a catalyst. He or she brings projects to fruition and coordinates all stakeholders involved in the project, whether through its implementation or its outcome. He or she manages the impact of the project, both during its implementation and after its completion.

 

The project manager is part of a multidisciplinary team whose mandate is to welcome new clients in the implementation of our care management solutions. The project manager coordinates the implementation of complex projects with multiple stakeholders. He or she is also responsible for guiding team members in achieving the unit's objectives. 

 

Primary responsibilities

  • Ensure rigorous planning, coordination, and monitoring of deployment projects in accordance with established schedules, budgets, and requirements.
  • Define and assign tasks to team members based on their skills and availability.
  • Regularly communicate project progress to internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactively identify and manage project risks, challenges, and change requests.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable project management standards, processes, and methodologies.
  • Ensure the quality of deliverables and customer satisfaction throughout deployments
  • Work closely with technical, product, and support teams to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Depending on the size of the projects under his responsibility, he plans and coordinates several projects simultaneously according to the life cycle of each one.
  • Evaluates the motivations, objectives, and success criteria of the project for the client;
  • Establishes an implementation plan and schedule for each upcoming project and evaluates objectives;
  • Responsible for the performance of the portfolio of projects included in his team
  • Analysis of workshops and proposals for improving clinical processes;
  • Organizes and leads technical meetings with stakeholders when interface adjustments are required;
  • The project manager is authorized to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and demonstrate mastery of political skills.
  • Manages the resources assigned to his or her team.

 

Contribute with your strengths:

  • University degree in project management, computer science, a health-related discipline, or a related field
  • 5 to 7 years of successful experience in managing large-scale deployment projects
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and resource development skills
  • Bilingual 
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and conflict resolution
  • Excellent customer service, thoroughness, commitment to excellence, and attention to detail; 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of the health and social services sector is an asset; 
  • PMP, CSM, or other project management certification is an asset;

 

Working conditions

  • Car travel varies depending on the week;
  • High degree of flexibility in terms of schedule and availability to travel within the region or to other provinces.

  • Permanent full-time position (40 hours per week)

  • Languages: Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken, is required.
