The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (P.Eng.) with a strong background in oil and gas infrastructure, particularly compressor and meter stations. This role is ideal for a professional with 12–15 years of project management experience, including at least 8 years in an EPC environment, who thrives in client-facing roles and excels at leading multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects involving:
  • Compressor stations
  • Meter stations
  • Valve sites
  • Class location upgrades
  • Pipeline recoats
• Serve as the primary liaison for clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of expectations.
• Oversee engineering, design, and construction coordination.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and risk mitigation.
• Mentor junior engineers and support team development.
• Champion safety, quality, and continuous improvement across all project phases.

Qualifications

Education & Certification

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in good standing.

Experience

• 12–15 years of progressive project management experience.
• Minimum 8 years in EPC projects within the oil & gas sector.
• Proven expertise in compressor stations, meter stations, and pipeline infrastructure.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards: CSA Z662, ASME B31.3/B31.4/B31.8, API.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Effective problem-solving and adaptability in dynamic environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
