Project Manager - Fast-Track Retail Construction

We are hiring a Project Manager with strong fast-track retail construction experience to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the pace of retail construction, can manage compressed schedules, and knows how to maintain strong client relationships while keeping projects on track.

What You'll Own

• Manage commercial retail construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Own project schedules, budgets, and client communication
• Lead preconstruction efforts including budgeting, scheduling, scope review, and risk identification
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and project timelines
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Work closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and internal teams
• Support post-completion service and maintenance follow-through as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in fast-track retail construction
• Experience managing compressed schedules and high-pressure project timelines
• Experience in live or occupied retail environments strongly preferred
• Multi-site or national rollout experience is a major plus
• Experience with preconstruction, including budgeting, scheduling, and scope development
• Strong communication and client management skills
• Comfortable using construction technology and digital collaboration tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Equivalent field experience will be considered
• Must be based in Minnesota or actively relocating to the Twin Cities area

Benefits

• Base salary: $95,000 – $130,000, depending on experience
• Performance bonus potential: 5% – 15%
• Total compensation potential up to $145,000
