We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a key application delivery programme as an external consultant. This is a long-term engagement under a near-site service delivery model, which requires the consultant to be based within 2 hours’ driving distance from the client’s headquarters in Warsaw, Poland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage effectively the full lifecycle and scope of medium-to-large ICT projects.
  • Establish and oversee project controls to ensure milestones, deliverables, and business objectives are met.
  • Control project quality and monitor risks, variances, and scope changes.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, including the Project Board, and lead internal communications.
  • Prepare and present project documentation and technical reports.
  • Plan and supervise the delivery process of project products.
  • Assign and coordinate tasks within the team; motivate and guide team members.
  • Organize and lead project meetings and status updates.
  • Apply Agile methodologies and recognised project management frameworks.

Requirements

  • University degree (EQF Level 7). ICT-related degree not mandatory.
  • Minimum 8 years of IT professional experience and 5 years of experience as Project Manager in similar roles.
  • Minimum C1 level in English (written and spoken).
  • At least one of the following certifications:
    • PRINCE2 Practitioner
    • PMP (Project Management Professional)
    • PM2 Essential / PM2 Advanced
    • or equivalent internationally recognized certification

  • Have prior experience in public sector or international/EU organisations.
  • Are familiar with key domains such as Data Privacy, Information Security Risk Assessment, and Business Continuity.
  • Can work effectively in changing environments and take ownership of project outcomes.
