About the Role:

As a Project Manager for Software Development, the incumbent will be responsible for leading and managing projects related to software development from initiation to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, designers, quality assurance professionals, and stakeholders, to ensure successful delivery of software projects within scope, time, and budget constraints.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and manage software development projects throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
• Develop detailed project plans, including tasks, timelines, resources, and dependencies.
• Allocate resources, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and conflicts. Implement effective risk management strategies.
• Coordinate with various teams to ensure smooth communication, collaboration, and alignment across departments.
• Lead project status meetings, provide updates to stakeholders, and ensure effective communication of project progress.
• Ensure that software development processes and methodologies are followed, and suggest improvements as needed.
• Conduct post-project evaluations and identify areas for improvement to enhance future project delivery.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that encourages creativity and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Educational Qualification / Other Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile PM, etc.) is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in managing software development projects is essential.
• Familiarity with software development languages, tools, and technologies is beneficial.
