Project Manager | Commercial Solar & Energy Storage

We are hiring a Project Manager to support the delivery of commercial solar PV and battery energy storage projects.

What You'll Own
- Manage the full lifecycle of commercial solar and battery storage projects from permitting through closeout
- Support project execution across:
- Contracts
- Scheduling
- Procurement
- Construction coordination
- Handoff and closeout
- Oversee project financials including:
- Monthly billing
- Cost tracking
- Budget forecasting
- Weekly financial reviews
- Job cost / coding accuracy
- Coordinate subcontractors and support procurement / buyout efforts
- Lead or support construction meetings and stakeholder communication
- Manage:
- RFIs
- Change orders
- Client communication
- OAC coordination
- Assist with preconstruction support including:
- RFP / RFQ responses
- Scope distribution
- Estimating coordination
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation across internal systems and communication platforms
Requirements
- 2+ years of progressive project management experience in commercial construction
- Background in one or more of the following is preferred:
- Solar
- Battery storage
- MEP
- Technical / infrastructure construction
- Strong understanding of the full project delivery cycle, including:
- Permits
- Inspections
- Scheduling
- Procurement
- Billing
- Closeout
- Comfortable managing project budgets, tracking costs, and identifying financial variances
- Working knowledge of MEP trades and building permit processes
- Proficiency with:
- Google Workspace
- Microsoft Office
- Smartsheet
- Experience with Jonas Premier is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
- Must be local to and able to work onsite in the Monterey Bay Area
