Project Manager (Cloud & AI)

ABOUT THE ROLE

Gcore's Cloud & AI Department builds and operates global Cloud and AI services on top of Gcore's worldwide infrastructure. We are looking for a Project Manager who will drive the delivery of medium to large cross-functional initiatives, help teams plan capacity, and continuously improve delivery processes.

This role is hands-on and requires strong coordination across Product, Engineering, and Operations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead medium and large Cloud/AI projects end-to-end: initiation, planning, execution, rollout/release, retrospectives, and outcome tracking.
• Own delivery planning and capacity management together with Engineering and Product leads: balancing incoming requests, roadmap items, tech debt, and operational work.
• Build, maintain, and improve delivery processes: workflows, backlog governance, SLAs, release/rollout routines, and reporting.
• Track and report progress: timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and KPIs; ensure clear and up-to-date project visibility.
• Support roadmap execution: collect inputs, align priorities, facilitate estimations, and synchronize across teams.
• Coordinate work across multiple stakeholders and teams: Engineering, Product, SRE/Operations, Infrastructure, Support, Marketing, and commercial units.
• Proactively manage risks, scope, and change requests; drive escalation and decision-making when needed.
• Facilitate Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban), adapting practices to team context.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

• Strong Project Management background: planning (roadmaps, schedules), budgeting basics, risk and change management, rollout/release management.
• Agile delivery experience: Scrum and/or Kanban; able to guide teams through iterations and continuous delivery.
• Cross-functional leadership: resource allocation, team coordination, coaching/mentoring mindset, and ability to work with multiple engineering squads.
• Experience running cross-team work where no one has formal authority over everyone.
• Process optimization skills: designing workflows, improving delivery efficiency, removing bottlenecks.
• Excellent communication: stakeholder management, client/internal partner relations, clear status reporting.
• Tools: confident user of Jira and Confluence; experience with dashboards/analytics tools (Power BI, Grafana or similar).

NICE TO HAVE

• Domain knowledge in Cloud and/or AI products.
• Experience in scaling delivery processes for growing teams or products.
