Project Manager / Business Analyst - Banking | SAP ERP

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Finance Business Analyst (PM & FBA) with a strong banking background to support and deliver SAP ERP initiatives. The role requires hands-on experience across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, deep understanding of financial data, and the ability to bridge business, finance, data, and technology teams within a banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Project Delivery

• Act as a hybrid Project Manager and Finance Business Analyst on SAP ERP implementation and transformation programs within a banking environment.
• Support end-to-end delivery of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA initiatives, including planning, execution, tracking, and reporting.
• Coordinate with IT, Finance, Data, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and deliverables.

Business & Financial Analysis

• Develop a strong understanding of banking financial data, including GL, sub-ledgers, financial reporting, and regulatory data.
• Perform deep-dive impact assessments across finance processes, data models, reports, and downstream systems.
• Conduct detailed data analysis and data profiling to assess data quality, completeness, and reconciliation between source and target systems.
• Translate business and finance requirements into clear functional specifications and solution documentation for SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Business Analyst, or hybrid PM/BA role within the banking or financial services industry.
• Mandatory experience working in local or foreign banks.
• Proven experience in SAP ERP implementations, with hands-on exposure to SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong understanding of financial data, accounting structures, and banking finance processes.
• Demonstrated experience performing detailed impact assessments, data analysis, and data profiling.
• Strong facilitation skills with the ability to lead workshops and discussions across business and technology teams.
• Excellent communication skills, with proven ability to create clear, concise, and professional presentation materials for senior management.
• Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills across complex, matrixed environments.
• Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently in fast-paced programs.
• Flexible and adaptive, with willingness to learn new domains within data and finance, including emerging GenAI technologies.
• SAP Finance-related certifications (FI/CO, S/4HANA Finance) are a plus.
