Rapyuta Robotics is seeking talented and ambitious individuals with a can-do attitude to help revolutionize robotics. We're creating a whole new generation of robotics platforms. The project management team, which you will be part of, is responsible for executing the project within the scope and budget by collaborating with the product and business teams.

Our Tokyo Autonomous Forklift Solutions team is seeking a Project Manager who can effectively manage complex customer projects related to autonomous forklift solutions while building a scalable process for project delivery. The team collaborates closely with some of Japan's leading enterprise customers and our top talented engineers. The group aims to create scalable solutions and establish an end-to-end process by 2023.

Responsibilities

  • Managing project schedule, budget, outputs, and customer satisfaction
  • Lead executions until successful handover to operations team
  • Analyzing customer requirements and working with developers for functional development
  • Building an efficient delivery process for mass production* Creating OKR and measuring required metrics

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of experience with project management in factory automation, logistics, electric devices, IT system integration, or automotive industries
  • Understanding of software development and hardware development life cycle
  • Strong ownership and drive for project delivery
  • Ability to read and write a technical document in English
  • Ability to communicate with customers in Japanese fluently

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management certification
  • Good understanding of safety regulations in the automotive or industrial machinery industry and experience in risk assessments
  • Good understanding of robotics or computer science
