About the role

 

Please note that this is a Hybrid role with onsite requirement 3 days a week. You must be able to commute to the office and have your own transport.

We have a newly created role for a Project Manager to join our Specialist Data Services team in Liverpool. In this role you will manage a series of new and existing networking and infrastructure projects for a wide range of NHS and private sector clients.

The role is highly operational and typically involves engagement across multiple projects. An essential part of the role is to ensure accurate and timely communication between external and internal stakeholders. It’s key that our Project Managers have a demonstrable track record of delivering a range (including medium to large, complex) of projects to time, quality, and budget. Our Project Managers must have experience and be comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Manage and plan current and new technology projects into client environments, delivered through our consultants and engineers. 
  • Own and manage issues and risk logs as part of the project process 
  • Plan the most efficient use of ARO resources 
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of internal and customer stakeholders 
  • Manage the costs and profitability of projects 
  • Production and maintenance of standard Project Documentation

Requirements

What we are looking for?

 

Essential

 

  • Proven experience of delivering complex and diverse IT projects to paying customers to time, cost and quality 
  • Strong forecasting skills 
  • Strong understanding of the role of governance and ability to tailor to suit the requirements of the project / customer 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Demonstrable experience of working within a commercial and project environment - and comfortable working with individuals of all levels 
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a fast-paced environment, running multiple concurrent projects with tight timelines 
  • The successful candidate will need to be knowledgeable on every aspect of the project lifecycle, while being able to adapt to the differences and challenges experienced between small and large projects.

Desirable

 

  • Delivery of projects in Deployment Compute and Storage Platforms, Wide Area Networks
    and IT Managed Services
  • PRINCE 2 Practitioner Qualification 
  • Full UK driving Licence and own car 
  • ITIL Foundation
  • Agile Methodology Experience
