Project Manager - 6 months contract

Job Purpose

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and delivering strategic projects across the organisation, ensuring they are executed efficiently, on time, and aligned with business objectives. This is a 6-month contract role.

Initially, you will take ownership of a key project involving the migration of knowledge base content, establishing strong project structures and delivery standards. Beyond this, you will support and drive additional cross-functional initiatives as required.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end project management across assigned initiatives, from planning through to execution and delivery
  • Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and success criteria in alignment with stakeholders
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (Product, Operations, Customer Support, Tech, etc.) to ensure smooth project execution, across multiple time zones.
  • Drive accountability across teams, ensuring tasks are clearly defined and delivered on time
  • Proactively identify risks, blockers, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies
  • Establish and maintain clear project documentation, processes, and reporting structures
  • Track and communicate project progress, providing regular updates to key stakeholders
  • Ensure high standards of quality, organisation, and efficiency across all deliverables
  • Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions
  • Facilitate effective communication and alignment across departments
  • Contribute to building and refining project management best practices within YSI

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in project management or delivery roles
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to take ownership and drive projects independently from concept to completion
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g. Jira, Asana, ClickUp, Monday.com, or similar)
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and adapt quickly
  • Experience working with digital products, platforms, or internal systems is a plus
  • Exposure to content, knowledge management, or system migrations is beneficial but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field (preferred but not essential)
