Job Title: Project Management Officer (PMO)
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
We are partnering with a leading fintech company looking to hire an experienced Project Management Officer (PMO) to join their growing team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Responsibilities:
Assist Project Manager and SMEs in tracking project progress and status
Coordinate with stakeholders and align team members toward project goals
Prepare project reports on status, issues, risks, and budget
Organize meetings, take minutes, and maintain project documentation
Support improvements to PMO processes, tools, and workflows
Handle ad hoc tasks and assignments as needed
Requirements
Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in IT, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years experience in Project/Program Management Office in IT projects
Knowledge of project management concepts, Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or Agile Scrum, etc.) is a plus
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to learn
While strong English language proficiency is essential, the ability to converse in Mandarin is desirable for liaising with Chinese-speaking clients.
