You will be part of the Treasury Innovation team whose purpose is to lead the Treasury optimisation, operational excellence, and automation initiatives ensuring the function keeps pace with best practice. The team collaborates with the IT team to drive the Treasury technology roadmap.  

You as a Project Leader will ensure delivery of initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, financial risk management, and digitalisation of finance processes in line with the IKEA Project Framework. 

More specifically the tasks and responsibilities include:  

  • Lead projects from end-to-end for treasury and finance transformation initiatives.  

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.  

  • Coordinate internal stakeholders across Group Finance, operating companies and IT organisation.  

  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.  

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and governance structures  

  • Monitor and report on project progress to leadership.  

  • Facilitate workshops and communication sessions for impacted teams.  

  • Support change management and communication strategies.  

  • Continuously improve project delivery methodologies and tools.

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent 

  • At least 5 years experience in a comparable organisation 

  • Experience with agile and waterfall project methodologies 

  • Proven experience in managing finance or treasury-related projects 

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects  

  • Strong analytical skills 

  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written)   

This role is full-time (40 hours per week) and based in Delft.  Occasion travel is required.  This role sits in the Group Treasury team and reports to the Deputy Group Treasurer.
