About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Project Intern to support our Heatmap Project. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, and migrating data from various external sources (e.g., PDFs, reports, datasets) into our internal database. This position is ideal for students or fresh graduates who are passionate about data, have basic technical skills, and are eager to learn about risk analytics and project execution in the tech/fintech industry.

Job Description

• Collect, extract, and organize data from multiple external sources in various formats (PDF, Excel, CSV, reports, etc.)
• Standardize and validate the collected data before migrating it into the internal database.
• Assist in cleaning, formatting, and transforming raw datasets for analytics and visualization purposes.
• Collaborate with the PMO Lead, Lending  and Data Science team to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Document the data collection process and maintain structured archives for reference.
• Support the team in preparing reports and insights related to the heatmap project.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related technical field is preferable
• Familiarity with data processing and database concepts
• Basic understanding of SQL and/or Python for data manipulation (highly encouraged)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while being a good team player
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and willingness to learn

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with spreadsheets and handling structured/unstructured data
• Knowledge of APIs or data scraping is a plus
• Familiarity with GIS (Geographic Information System) concepts is an advantage, but not mandatory
