Project Engineer

Qualis LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to support the design, integration, and delivery of advanced technology solutions in a dynamic rapid prototyping environment at our Hunstville, AL office. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation, systems-level thinking, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in the development of cutting-edge hardware systems, such as RF, electronic, or space-related technologies.

Essential Duties:

• Develops and applies advanced hardware design methods, theories, and researches techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced technical problems.
• Leads team of subject matter experts to define technical problem and architect solutions
• Develops and presents technical white papers and executive level briefings.
• Develops program technical approach and technical roadmap
• Develops technical program plan, identifies technical milestones, and ensures progress against the technical objectives.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 5+ years of experience
• Experience with design engineering, project engineering, and systems engineering principles
• Experience with digital signal processing systems and radio frequency systems
• Ability to work with a dynamic, skilled team on high–impact, high–visibility projects
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS in EE or a related technical field preferred
• Experience with building software interfaces to hardware
• Possess excellent time–management skills to contribute to multiple tasks concurrently
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
• Possess excellent presentation skills
