We are currently hiring a Project Designer and BIM Coordinator in our Architectural division in our Charlotte, NC office.

The Architectural Division at LaBella provides comprehensive planning and design services for a wide variety of markets, including Healthcare, Higher Education, Sports and Entertainment, Commercial, Multi-Family and Mixed-Use, Residential, and Municipal. The overall expectations of the Project Designer and BIM Coordinator position are to produce construction drawings, understand basic construction practices for implementation during construction administration, work with large project teams, including outside subconsultants, to ensure that all aspects of the project are being met and completed. The Project Designer will assist the Project Team with client meetings, design team meetings, and construction administration. Additionally, this position will be expected to produce presentation graphics, conceptual 3d models and be capable of drafting redlines and creating outline floor plans in an efficient manner.

This role will also include taking the lead in coordinating BIM strategies and implement into projects in the SE Region. LaBella has a BIM team in place and this role will require coordination with that team and implementing decisions and initiatives into majority of the SE region Architectural projects, across all markets.

A successful candidate will be self-motivated with the willingness to learn, train, develop and continue building architectural knowledge. A successful candidate will also possess strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills, as well as contribute to a positive work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture

• Strong technical design and construction document skills

• Excellent graphic presentation skills

• Proficient in Revit and Sketchup
