Role Purpose
The Project Delivery Lead is a mid-to-senior tier position within the EHS Programme Framework, designed for project professionals who have mastered the fundamentals and are ready to step into a leadership capacity. This role is specifically tailored for our most complex work, moving beyond simple task execution to take full ownership of project direction and strategic leadership. You will be expected to navigate "grey areas" where no established manual exists, leading project resources, clients, and internal stakeholders through periods of turmoil and challenge.
Key Responsibilities
Experience & Qualifications
Extensive Experience: of demonstrable success managing the delivery of technology-based projects using waterfall or agile methodologies.
Proven Track Record: Substantial and evidenceable experience in managing and leading complex, large-scale projects.
Professional Mastery: Must hold a PRINCE2, APM, or MSP qualification.
Commercial & Business Acumen: Strong business acumen with natural commercial awareness and a deep understanding of the dynamics of project work.
Core Competencies & Strategic Focus
Strategic Engagement: Aligned with broader UK&I and Madrid strategies, staying connected to the "beat of the business" to anticipate strategic shifts.
Transitioning Leadership: Focused on the shift from managing tasks to leading people and defining project direction.
Proactive Risk Neutralisation: Leads workstreams through complex issues with ease, navigating and neutralising risks before they manifest.
Impact & Delivery: Focused on outcomes, translating delivery excellence into clinical value for clients and commercial benefits for the business.
Governance Excellence: Demonstrates experience working with robust Project Governance principles and outstanding attention to detail.

The "Lynchpin" Role: A natural communicator, capable of delivering formal presentations and acting as the centre of gravity for multiple internal and external teams.
