POSITION OVERVIEW

Stream Data Centers (SDC) is looking for a highly organized individual for the position of Project Coordinator, Construction who can successfully integrate into a project team to assist in the coordination and management of the administrative responsibilities required on SDC data center deployments. The primary function of this role will be to process and track financial transactions and organize and coordinate business process support functions.

The Project Coordinator, Construction is expected to manage and be responsible for project documentation and to operate within the project financial and document storage systems. This role will work closely with Stream Data Centers Financial and Project Controls team members and will support additional job-related duties as assigned by Project Leads.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reviews, processes, and organizes vendor financial transactions, including verification of all required Lien Releases, to ensure compliance.
  • Assists in preparation of Tenant invoices, tracks receipt and payment, and informs Project Lead when payments are issued and/or late.
  • Generate Owner (SDC) Sworn Statement and lien waivers.
  • Track and collect lien waivers from General Contractors, its subcontractors and sub tiers, and SDC’s own applicable vendors.
  • Maintain and organize file folder structure. Maintains and organizes project documentation within the designated project management, file management, and accounting system platforms.
  • Transmits documentation and maintains complete Tenant, Contractor, and Vendor files.
  • Verifies insurance certificates are compliant and adhere to project requirements. Requests updated certificates from vendors as needed and manages retention of certificates.
  • Assist in preparation of Contracts, Change Orders, and Project Site related documentation. Coordinate documents for review prior to signature.
  • Assists project team by facilitating project coordination. Arranges and manages staff meetings, prepares agendas, sends notices, and records minutes.
  • Monitors adherence to operational standards and notifies project leads of issues as needed.
  • Assist with project audits, both internal and external.
  • Prepare and collect project closeout documentation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
  • Five years of relevant experience in construction project coordination and financial processing
  • Knowledge of documentation control processes and procedures, vendor commitments, invoicing processes, and lien releases
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to exercise diplomacy in pursuit of effective collaboration.
  • Flexible in job assignments and responsibilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams), Knowledgeable in Autodesk Construction Cloud
