We are seeking a local, execution-focused recruiter and participant coordinator based in
Los Angeles to drive in-person research and data collection projects. This role is divided
between participant recruiting and management, and is critical to keeping projects
running smoothly day to day.


The role combines hands-on, in-person outreach with full ownership of the participant
pipeline, including screening, scheduling, confirmations, reminders, and payment
management.


Success is measured based on schedule utilization, participant show rates, and
operational reliability.


This role is best suited for someone who is comfortable managing competing priorities,
adapting quickly to change, and consistently following through on operational details.


Key Responsibilities

 

  • Source participants through in-person outreach, distribute approved recruiting
    materials, and maintain relationships with local organizations and community
  • Screen prospective participants based on project criteria, ensure understanding
    of session expectations and logistics.
  • Own the local recruiting pipeline from initial outreach through session completion,
    maintain accurate records of outreach, confirmations, and attendance, adjust
    recruiting strategies as needed to meet volume and attendance targets.
  • Visit the local office regularly to align with leadership on demand and priorities,
    gather real-time feedback on quality and attendance, provide regular updates on
    recruiting progress, risks, and results.
  • Build and maintain a local recruiting pipeline to support both scheduled sessions
    and same-day backfills.
  • Own the participant lifecycle from eligibility confirmation through payment,
    excluding on-site moderation.
  • Partner closely with the on-site team to align on daily and weekly recruiting
    priorities, understand capacity and upcoming gaps, and adjust recruiting and
    communication strategies accordingly.
  • Support additional recruiting and project coordination activities, as needed.


Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of short-term project dynamics and talent needs
  • Proficiency with sourcing tools, job boards, and social media platforms to identify
    and engage participants
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Highly organized, reliable, and self-directed with the ability to work independently
    in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Comfortable conducting in-person outreach, direct participant communication
    and familiarity with Los Angeles neighborhoods and community networks
  • Professional and comfortable representing the company in community settings
  • Ability to manage high volumes of participants and shifting priorities


Compensation & Employment Details

  • $30/hour (W-2 employment), Hired through an Employer of Record (EOR) arrangement
  • Hours may vary based on project needs; some evenings or weekends may be
    required for recruiting purposes
  • Duration: This is a one-month engagement with the potential for extension based on project needs and performance.
