About the Role

This is a foundational position at MicroCo—the first hire dedicated to building and operationalizing our program delivery function. You’ll be the architect of our workflows, the driver of cross-functional alignment, and the operational backbone that enables us to scale.

 

You’ll work directly with executives, creators, and partners, navigating conversations from the C-suite to individual contributors with professionalism and clarity. This role requires someone who can think strategically, execute tactically, and roll up their sleeves to get things done. Over time, you’ll have the opportunity to build and lead a team, shaping the future of operations at MicroCo.

 

Compensation

We believe in aligning incentives with impact—our compensation philosophy combines competitive cash compensation with meaningful ownership in the company’s growth. Compensation for this role will be commensurate with the skills and experience of the incumbent. Total compensation includes base salary, equity, and potential performance-based bonus.


Key Responsibilities

1. Stand Up Program & Operations Functions

  • Design and implement processes for program delivery across Product, Content, Marketing, and Business Operations.
  • Establish agile workflows, vendor governance, and launch readiness frameworks.

2. Coordinate the Workstream Ecosystem

  • Manage timelines, milestones, and deliverables across multiple teams.
  • Ensure seamless execution from concept through launch and iteration.

3. Steward Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Act as the connective tissue between teams, clarifying priorities and tracking dependencies.
  • Maintain efficient communication flows across all levels of the organization.

4. Drive Workflow Discipline

  • Build and maintain project management systems, tools, and documentation.
  • Implement operational rigor to ensure precision and accountability.

5. Oversee Logistics and Process

  • Manage contracts, paperwork, and budget tracking.
  • Ensure all administrative, legal, and operational steps are completed accurately and on time.

6. Support Leadership Execution

  • Partner with department leads to anticipate needs, surface blockers early, and maintain momentum on strategic initiatives.

7. Champion Delivery Excellence

  • Enable projects are delivered on time, on budget, and on brand.
  • Monitor vendor efficiency and optimize for cost savings.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in program management, operations, or similar roles within tech, media, or entertainment.
  • Proven ability to stand up new functions and scale processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills; comfortable engaging with executives and team members alike.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and vendor management.
  • Strong strategic thinking paired with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach.

 

Preferred Experience

  • Background in product launches, marketing campaigns, or content operations.
  • Familiarity with entertainment, gaming, or digital media ecosystems.
  • Prior experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • PMP/PMI certification is a plus
