Lead the development of innovative hardware products through cross-functional team coordination and ensure readiness for large-scale deployment in defense technology.
About Us
STARK is a new kind of defence technology company revolutionising the way autonomous systems are deployed across multiple domains. We design, develop, and manufacture high-performance unmanned systems that are software-defined, mass-scalable, and cost effective. This provides our operators with a decisive edge in highly contested environments.
We are focused on delivering deployable, high-performance systems, not future promises. In a time of rising threats, STARK is bolstering the technological edge of NATO Allies and their Partners to deter aggression and defend Europe today.
Your mission
We’re looking for a Program Manager who will take ownership of a new hardware product from early-stage development to readiness for large-scale use. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams, structure the workflow, and ensure that engineering, testing, and production streams move in sync.
The role involves working on a technically complex platform with many moving parts — engineering, electronics, software integration, testing processes, and preparation for future scaling.
Responsibilities
- Drive the execution of a new hardware product from concept and requirements to delivery.
- Structure the program roadmap: milestones, dependencies, timelines, risks.
- Coordinate engineering, testing, manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams.
- Work closely with technical leads to clarify requirements, constraints, and priorities.
- Track progress, resolve blockers, manage resources, and keep delivery predictable.
- Prepare the product roadmap for future scaling and production readiness.
- Keep documentation, specifications, and change logs consistent and up to date.
- Run regular syncs, reviews, and readiness checks across teams.
- Communicate program status to leadership and highlight risks early.
Qualifications
- 4+ years in Program/Project Management within hardware-related domains (aviation, electronics, robotics, embedded systems, complex R&D).
- Ability to work with early-stage hardware concepts and bring structure to fast-changing environments.
- Good understanding of hardware development phases: design → prototyping → testing → production prep.
- Ability to read and understand technical requirements, specs, BOMs, and integration constraints.
- Strong cross-functional coordination skills.
- Fluent communication in English and Ukrainian.
- Ownership mindset and ability to manage ambiguity.
Nice to Have
- Experience with high-reliability systems (robotics, aerospace, defense, industrial machinery).
- Understanding of embedded systems, electronics, mechanical design or manufacturing processes.
- Experience preparing products for scaling or transitioning into production.
- Familiarity with Jira/Confluence or similar tools.
