Global Engineering & Technology (GET) is looking for a part-time Program Manager who will oversee a team of analysts responsible for processing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Act requests for the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG). This work will require periodic oversight amounting to approximately one (1) day of work per week. This work will be performed on-site at the USCG Office of Privacy Management located at USCG Headquarters St. Elizabeth Complex in Washington, DC.

Although part-time, this is a mission-critical position supporting USCG Office of Privacy Management and the Office of Investigation and Casualty Analysis (CG-INV). These support services include documentation, assessment, analysis, research, data processing, data entry, and office support for USCG FOIA and Privacy Programs.

The USCG Privacy Program ensures compliance with the Privacy Act, the E-Government Act, and other Federal laws, and Federal and Departmental policies, including completion of privacy compliance documentation, issuance of USCG privacy policies, oversight of privacy incidents and privacy compliance reviews, and privacy training.

Requirements

Education / Experience:

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in business or related field and at least three (3) years program management experience and two (2) years of experience in reviewing and processing business intelligence on applicants, employees, and contractors
  • OR have eight (8) years general experience (gained in an office setting) and three (3) years program management experience and two (2) years of experience in reviewing and processing business intelligence on applicants, employees, and contractors
