Position Summary: The Health Institute at Hardy is an innovative and dynamic program that launched in August 2025 offering careerconnected pathways for students interested in high-demand healthcare fields and is unique within Philadelphia. Through a partnership with the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) fueled by generous funding support from Bloomberg Philanthropies, students will engage in hands-on learning, including labs, internships, and dual-enrollment courses, leading to certifications in healthcare fields through three pathway programs focused on clinical, operations and administration roles in health care. We are seeking a highly organized expert project manager to serve as the Program Manager for the Health Institute at Hardy to ensure all of the initiatives and workstreams associated with this program deliver on exceptional outcomes to meet the needs of our students and families. The role will be embedded on the Hardy High School Team and will report to the Assistant Principal, Postsecondary. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Essential Job Functions:
  • Develop clear and efficient project management systems and processes using software tools (e.g. Microsoft Teams, Asana, etc.) to provide clarity on status, next steps, and timelines for key deliverables, decisions and action items for Health Institute at Hardy workstreams
  • Attend and actively engage in Health Institute at Hardy workstreams with key stakeholders from Hardy, Mastery Network Support Team (NST) staff and CHOP to provide input and document key notes and action items
  • Collaborate closely and check in regularly with Hardy High Assistant Principals and NST High School Redesign team to ensure strong alignment, collaboration and coordination
  • Elevate key decision points, roadblocks and challenges to Assistant Principal of Postsecondary, Principal and/or NST High School Redesign team to ensure they are addressed and resolved in a timely manner
  • Support the execution of the implementation plan for high-quality immersive student health care work-based learning experiences in collaboration with Hardy and CHOP teams
  • Support the communications plan to ensure strong Hardy staff, family and student engagement with the Health Institute at Hardy
  • Track and manage budgetary resources for Health Institute at Hardy
  • Collect data, analyze Health Institute at Hardy program effectiveness, and draft data reflection deliverables for leadership team to inform decisions on continuous improvement
  • Complete additional tasks and deliverables as assigned by the Hardy High Assistant Principal, Postsecondary to support the Health Institute at Hardy

  • Effective communication, collaboration and relationship-building skills with a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, equity, and high expectations for all students
  • Education and Experience:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience: At least three years of professional experience focused on program or project management required; experience in education, non-profit and/or workforce development is a plus.
  • Certification: Project management certification (e.g. Project Management Professional, etc.) preferred 
  • Other Requirements:
  • Ability to physically perform the essential duties of the role as outlined above, and to work in the environmental conditions required, such as traveling to network campuses, monitoring and interacting with students, in-person facilitation of trainings, etc.;
  • This role may require frequent travel between multiple locations. Reliable transportation is essential to fulfill job responsibilities
