Program manager Defense & Security

As dedicated Program Manager Defense & Security you are key point of contact between the customer and ScioTeq for all existing development as well as long-term production and service agreements. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a good relationship with the customer and overseeing and coordinating various projects related to defense & security solutions to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction.

The Program Manager manages all phases of complex electronic and embedded software display development programs leading to successful introduction of new products on the defense & security market for various and/or dedicated civil and military customers.
 

• You lead and manage Defense & Security program plans, including schedules, statements of work, work breakdown structures and budgets. You participate in proposal efforts and contract negotiations for larger programs.​

• You chair internal and customer program reviews. You serve as the primary customer interface and are accountable for customer satisfaction while meeting all contractual and internal financial requirements. ​

• You ensure the developed product is consistent with the required business results objectives​

• You follow up the introduction of new developments into a production environment.​

• You remain responsible for the execution of deliveries in series production phase, as well as the sustainment and change management of the product until successful handover to the aftersales/maintenance team.

Requirements

• You hold a master’s degree or equivalent. You have at least 4 years of experience in project or program management,

preferably in Aviation or Defense industry, at least in highly technical production environment.

• You have excellent communication skills both written and verbal and ability to communicate both external

and internal at various levels including senior management. Fluent English is a must, Dutch and

French knowledge is an asset.

• You have strong organization skills, time management. You can work as primary contact with major

customers. You have proven experience as team leader with a pro-active approach to program management.

• You have demonstrated business analysis experience.

• You have basic affinity for technical matters such as electronics and software. Education in any of these

fields is a complementary asset.

• Your PMI certification is an extra advantage.
