We are seeking a highly accomplished Program Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team supporting the JPEO-CBRND’s mission to research, develop, acquire, and field advanced chemical and biological defense capabilities for the Joint Force. This role oversees all contractual, financial, technical, and operational aspects of JCOS program execution and serves as the primary interface with senior Government leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall direction, leadership, and management of program staff across engineering, analysis, logistics, T&E, and program support functions.

  • Oversee program schedules, resource allocation, cost performance, staffing plans, and deliverable quality.

  • Lead stakeholder engagement, IPT participation, and coordination with Government Program Managers, SMEs, and external mission partners.

  • Develop and maintain program management plans, risk registers, communications strategies, and dashboards.

  • Ensure compliance with DoD acquisition policy, CBRN program requirements, cybersecurity policy, and systems engineering best practices.

  • Prepare and present high-level briefings, status reports, and decision papers for senior stakeholders and executive leadership.

  • Drive a culture of performance excellence, transparency, and continuous improvement.

  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI)

  • BA/BS in engineering, science, business, management, or related field.

  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience leading DoD programs, preferably within major acquisition (ACAT) or complex R&D environments.

  • Proven success managing cost, schedule, and performance on multi-year federal contracts.

  • Deep familiarity with DoDI 5000-series acquisition processes and systems engineering lifecycle activities.

  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.

  • Open to occasional CONUS travel

This position is contingent upon contract award.
