As a Program Manager, you will act as the single conduit to a single federal customer back to Accenture Federal Services. Our work is broad ranging, from IT Service Management to Mission Application Systems and the overall infrastructure that supports both spaces.  You will need to use your technical and functional leadership to interface with the clients and stakeholders as well as your Accenture teams and Defense and Intelligence Leadership to push for the best solutions for our customers, our people, and the organization.

Responsibilities

  • In this role as a Project/Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple teams within a DoD IC client organization. Your main focus will be on technical leadership, as well as personnel leadership, as you will need to effectively communicate and collaborate with on-site teams, client leadership, and account leadership team.
  • Your strategic thinking skills will be put to the test as you navigate contract vehicles, actions, teaming decisions, business development, proposal development, and client relationship management.
  • It is crucial that you have experience in Stakeholder Engagement, Client Engagement, AWS Cloud Engineering, AWS Cloud Security, AWS Cross-Domain Solutions, Data Management, and Data Governance to excel in this position.
  • Having a strong background in managing complex projects and programs will be in this role. Experience in working with difficult clients and navigating challenging situations will also be key to your success.
  • Your ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders and lead teams towards successful project outcomes will be essential.
  • Additionally, having a deep understanding of AWS Cloud Engineering and Security, as well as data management and governance, will be crucial in driving the project forward. Your expertise in these areas will enable you to make informed decisions and provide valuable insights to the team.

 Here is what you need

  • 10 years of experience in federal program management
  • Experience performing project management responsibilities over a cloud or cloud security project or program
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams for federal delivery

Nice to have

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • Experience with any of the following:
    • Stakeholder Engagement Client Engagement
    • AWS Cloud Engineering
    • AWS Cloud Security
    • AWS Cross-Domain Solutions
    • Data Management
    • Data Governance

Clearance

  • An active TS/SCI federal security clearance is required

 

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
