Program Management Specialist

This role is responsible for driving multi-faceted program management activities across lunar exploration missions, including technical development, operational planning, financial oversight, stakeholder coordination (domestic and international), and sales support.   • Monitor progress of technical development items and prepare related reports
  • Facilitate communication and issue resolution with engineering teams
  • Support project execution management including scheduling, risk tracking, and budgeting
  • Manage program-level Profit & Loss (P&L), including budget planning, cost control, and financial analysis
  • Coordinate with domestic and international stakeholders, including contract and negotiation support (e.g., oversea space agency, overseas partners, Japanese research institutions)
  • Support sal+C4es activities such as proposal creation, client engagement, technical presentations, and quotation assistance
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to provide strategic input, decision-making support, and feedback on business planning
  • Organize internal and external meetings and prepare minutes
  • Assist in the creation of presentation materials and reports (in both Japanese and English)

  • プレゼン資料・報告書の作成支援(日本語・英語)
  • Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience)
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in technical fields such as aerospace, robotics, telecommunications, or related industries
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project budget and cost management (P&L)
  • Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English (written and verbal)
  • Japanese : Native, English : Business Level
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills

  • 宇宙・航空・ロボティクス・情報通信など技術分野での実務経験(5年以上)
  • プロジェクトの予算・コスト管理経験(P&L管理)5年以上
  • 日本語・英語での業務遂行能力(読み書き・会話)
  • 日本語: Native, 英語: Business Leve

  • Knowledge of space-related projects
  • Experience in reading and preparing technical documentation
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
  • Experience working with international organizations
  • Experience collaborating with sales or business development teams
  • Career interest in transitioning from technical roles to program/business leadership
  • Experience managing government-funded projects (e.g., NEDO, JAXA, Cabinet Office)
  • Experience launching projects in startup or venture environments
