Ventus Executive Solutions is seeking an experienced Analyst to join an exciting team working in the National Capital Region. This position involves impactful work supporting the Undersea Enterprise in its requirements, analysis, coordination, planning, budgeting, and oversight functions for submarine weapon systems. This near-term opportunity is ideal for a self-starting, detail-oriented, technically and linguistically savvy individual with experience in undersea weapons and operations, Navy planning, programming and budget management, and/or Pentagon resource sponsor experience. You will provide direct support to Navy program leadership inside the Pentagon with three key focus areas: 1) Oversee/support relevant program offices’ undersea weapons’ development, planning, integration, and fielding efforts; 2) Provide Subject Matter Expertise for the Requirements Officers and leadership on undersea weapons related matters; and 3) Support the directorate in its budget development and execution efforts as they relate to undersea weapons. A candidate must be highly proficient in consolidating inputs from multiple sources and program leadership into detailed, coherent products and documents used to inform senior Navy and DoD leaders as well as Congress. A candidate should have experience communicating and interfacing directly with senior leaders; leading efforts and tracking and completing multiple tasks simultaneously; working independently with little to no supervision; and providing objective, independent critical thinking.
Work location is on-site in Washington DC. Some travel (<25%) can be expected.
Required Experience:
• 8+ years of DoD experience
• 5+ years of Navy operational experience
• Top notch communication skills
• Bachelor’s Degree
• SECRET clearance

• 10+ years of DoD/Navy Program and/or Requirements Management experience
• Operational Submarine Experience

• Familiarity with OPNAV processes
