Fluxx is looking for a Professional Services Project Coordinator to join the Professional Services team.

The Professional Services Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in enabling scalable, predictable delivery across the Professional Services organization.  The primary responsibilities include capacity planning, resource coordination, delivery operations, partner staffing, and execution visibility, ensuring the right team members are assigned to the right work at the right time.

This is a full-time, exempt, remote position. Candidates must be located in the United States.

How you will make an impact/What you will do:

  • Maintain real-time visibility into Professional Services capacity, availability, and utilization.
  • Support short- and medium-term resource forecasting based on pipeline, booked work, and delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with Professional Services leaders to provide reports focused on financial and resource management data to aid with revenue and budgetary goals.
  • Provide analysis that supports the business objectives of the Services organization and aligns with the corporate vision.
  • Run weekly/monthly/quarterly billing and estimated revenue recognition; identify corrective actions that are required to meet/beat targets. 
  • Develop analytical reports for all sources of service revenue, consistent with company standards and management direction.
  • Coordinate partner staffing, including partner contract process.
  • Coordinate with the Project Management Team and other groups within Sales / Operations to obtain relevant data about the project opportunity and staffing requirements
  • Subject matter expert for services personnel on all processes related to services revenue: time entry, project management processes related to operations, customer billing, and staff utilization.
  • Skills Matrix: Management of PS / Vertical Resource Skill Matrix, ensuring all PS resources have an updated Skills Matrix.
  • Continually provide suggestions and implement improvements to business and reporting processes that keep up with the changes in the organization.
  • Support the Professional Services staff to better understand revenue, hours, and target attainment goals

 

What you bring to the team/ About you:

  • Demonstrated progressive industry experience in a Professional Services Operations or similar role for a high-tech product company
  • Demonstrated progressive PSA tools experience required (i.e., NetSuite Openair, FinancialForce)
  • Previous experience in a data-driven, analytics-centric role
  • A working understanding of Professional Services cost structures is strongly preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with pivot tables, analyzing and formatting data, using filters, and creating charts and graphs
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Must have incredible attention to detail, be self-starting, and possess strong organizational skills
  • You share our values and work in accordance with those values.
  • Strong technical acumen and familiarity with productivity tools (Google Workspace, MS Office, and Mac tools)
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
  • Ability to travel up 10%-25% per month
  • Familiarity with grant management processes is a huge plus.

Salary:

Fluxx is committed to fair, transparent, and equitable compensation practices. We use a market-based approach to pay that reflects the cost of labor in different geographic regions, as well as our company size and industry standards.

This role is categorized into three compensation tiers based on location, with the following expected annual on-target earnings (base salary + commission):

Fluxx is currently seeking candidates located in Zone 2 and Zone 3 geographies for this role.

  • Zone 1 – San Francisco Bay Area, New York City
      We are not currently hiring for Zone 1 locations.
  • Zone 2 –  Boston, Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Washington D.C.
      $53,100- $72,900 
  • Zone 3 – All other U.S. locations
    $50,150- $68,850

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on, but not limited to (a) location; (b) individual candidate skills and qualifications; and (c) individual candidate experience. 

Fluxx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. We take a market-based approach to pay which may vary depending on your location. Locations are categorized into one of three zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic location and our compensation philosophy.
