Professional Services Consulting, Sr. Consultant: Develop and execute security controls, defenses, and countermeasures to intercept and prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, e-commerce, and web-based systems. Perform network security audits and testing. Evaluate system security configurations to ensure efficiency and compliance with policies and procedures. Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments of applications, operating systems, and/or networks. Respond to cybersecurity breaches. Identify intrusions and isolate, block, and remove unauthorized access. Research and evaluate cybersecurity threats. Perform root cause analysis. Assist in the creation and implementation of security solutions. Provide information to management regarding impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration, or denial of access to information and systems. Some work to be performed at local customer sites. 40 hours per week.
Requirements:
Education and Experience: Requires a Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering, or a related field and six months of experience in cloud consulting and cloud security audits.
Specific Skills: Also requires education or experience in: 1) cyber security frameworks; 2) cloud virtualization techniques; 3) security hardening of databases/servers; 4) configuring security tools in Windows and Linux OS environments; 5) code reviews; 6) scripting languages; 7) C and/or C#; 8) JavaScript and TypeScript; 9) cloud security penetration testing; and 10) web API security testing.

Pay Range and Benefits Information: The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $88,462 to $108,462 per year. In addition, this role is eligible for bonus. Black Duck offers a competitive total rewards package. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
