About the Role (Your Why)

As a Datapay Professional Services Consultant/Implementation Lead, you’ll be the conduit between the client’s business users, stakeholders and the implementation teams. This is a challenging and rewarding role to grow your existing analysis, design, communication and diplomatic abilities. You’ll be comfortable in front of clients at all levels as you’ll be leading workshops, eliciting requirements, crafting solutions and articulating Datapay concepts.

What You’ll Do

As a Datapay Implementation Lead, you will be across multiple projects with high profile customers. You will lead Datapay Payroll workstreams from requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing activities, knowledge transfer sessions to user training.

The successful candidate for this role will be seen as an expert in their field and will have demonstrated experience and success in a similar customer facing role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end project management across multiple implementation projects and ensure projects are delivered on time and successfully
  • Attend the project meetings and providing proactive customer contact throughout the whole process
  • Hold scoping and design workshops to understand customer payroll, system configuration and integration requirements
  • Complete system configuration, integration configuration and data imports into Datapay. Plan and execute validation and reconciliation from legacy systems
  • Complete various testing phases with customer, manage defects and conduct payroll variance investigation
  • Deliver hands-on demonstrations and practical training sessions for large or small groups for go live preparation
  • Provide a clean and thorough hand-over following implementation to support teams or the account managers

 

What You’ll Bring

You will have:

  • Solid understanding of NZ payroll domain knowledge including a good understanding of the legislation and compliance
  • Excellent stakeholder management at all levels and clear and confident verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to organise, plan and manage multiple projects with a high attention to detail and strong problem-solving/analytical skills
  • Strong in facilitating customer meetings to capture requirements and design intent
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills to outline customer requirements and system configuration design that has been agreed
  • Strong Payroll or Workforce Management technical knowledge and configuration skills
  • Ability to build Reports and Dashboards, including calculated fields in another Payroll or Workforce Management system
  • Strong data skills and proficiency in MS office suite, especially MS Excel
  • Experience of either Payroll Implementation OR Workforce Management Implementation into government or large enterprise customers (not essential to have both) for over 7 years of experience
  • HRIS Implementation experience would be desirable but not essential
  • SaaS implementations experience preferred
  • Experience communicating with large and enterprise clients preferred
  • Experience using Datapay payroll software preferred
