Here at Fred Astaire Dance Studios® East Greenwich studio, we offer private and group lessons, choreograph wedding dances, host local parties, provide performance opportunities, and participate in approximately 35 spectacular National, Inter-Regional, and Regional competitions annually.

What You'll Do

As a high-energy, customer-focused dance instructor, you will:

  • Teach private and group dance lessons in various ballroom styles throughout the week
  • Build meaningful relationships with students from all walks of life and help them reach their personal dance goals
  • Guide students on their journey—whether preparing for a single event or pursuing lifelong dance growth
  • Attend studio events, parties, and competitions with your students (some weekday evenings and weekends)
  • Participate in ongoing professional training to continuously enhance your dance and teaching skills
  • Create a welcoming environment where every student feels valued and supported
  • Collaborate with your Fred Astaire team to deliver an exceptional student experience

Physical Requirements: This role requires standing, walking, and dancing for extended periods. Must be able to demonstrate dance movements and maintain high energy levels throughout the workday.

Schedule: Studio hours are Monday through Friday, 12:30 PM to 8:00 PM, with Friday evening parties extending until 9:00 PM. Must be available for some weekday evenings and weekend events.
