Key Job Functions and Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Execution:

Monitors production performance, including daily output and efficiency, to minimize downtime.
Assigns tasks to personnel and coordinates material requirements.
Personnel Management & Leadership:
Supervises, coaches, trains, and disciplines production staff.
Manages shift rosters, conducts performance evaluations, and fosters a team environment.
Ensures all staff are trained on machinery operation and safety procedures.
Quality & Operational Control:
Maintains quality standards and checks production output for adherence to specifications.
Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves operational problems.
Implements cost-reduction measures and process improvements.
Safety & Maintenance:
Enforces strict company and government safety regulations (e.g., OSHA).
Ensures equipment is operating correctly by scheduling regular maintenance and repairs.
Reporting & Communication:
Submits daily/weekly reports on production progress and performance metrics.
Communicates goals and expectations clearly to the team.
