About the role

The Production Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of all functions and staff on shift to ensure that all plant Safety, Quality/GMP, Productivity, and Waste management objectives, policies, and procedures are met. This role focuses on managing team performance, driving quality culture, and ensuring production efficiencies are continuously achieved through resource optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • This is an on-site position.
  • Manage team performance by conducting appraisals and developing individual training plans to optimize operator versatility.
  • Drive the Quality culture by ensuring work processes are adhered to through production pack review, approval, and document control maintenance.
  • Ensure production efficiencies and targets are continuously met and reviewed in collaboration with Process Engineering and Maintenance teams.
  • Coordinate and implement lean manufacturing activities and continuous improvements to enhance plant productivity.
  • Support new product introductions, change controls, and product trials while managing resource planning in accordance with order requirements.

Required

  • Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or Supply Chain discipline.
  • Previous experience in a Supervisory role.
  • Experience working in the Medical Device Industry is preferred.

Skills you need to succeed

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage and develop a diverse team.
  • Excellent PC system skills and experience with integrated systems or ERP packages.
