Production Shift Coordinator - 6 month FTC

Norwich

Shift pattern is 7am to 7pm, 3 on 3 off

Valeo Foods in Norwich have a new role for a Shift Coordinator, working within production setting, to support the shift manager at embedding and empowering culture in their relevant areas where all employees are engaged, proactive and aligned with the business goals and objectives.

You will be accountable for the planning, organising and controlling the process areas so it is always safe and legally compliant. Ensuring that goods are produced safely, to quality standards, meeting customer expectations, efficiently, on time, on target and to standard.

We are looking for a Health and Safety conscious person who will lead by example to set expectations, plan work to be carried out in a safe manner, take action to prevent risk of harm to their team. Challenge and address unsafe behaviour, be involved in testing emergency procedures, lead accident & incident investigations to establish root causes and preventative measures.  Deliver safety briefings to your team so you are seen as the safety leader of your team.  Make available team embers to support the company safety program.

Essential skills:

  • Ability to work alone or as part of team

Desirable

  • Experience in an organisation that has experienced rapid change and transformation
